Why Brow Tattoos Can Be Tricky
Cosmetic tattoos are different from body art tattoos. Microblading, microshading, and permanent brow tattoos use special blends of pigments—often oxides and mixed colors—to achieve a natural look. While microblading usually lasts 2–3 years, traditional brow tattoos are designed to be permanent.
Because these pigments are made up of multiple colors (commonly red and black blended to create brown), they may require more than one treatment. Lasers remove one color at a time, so your first session may fade the darker pigments, while follow-up treatments address the remaining tones.
